Hi David,

Well from what I can gather, I've kind of mashed up and badly bruised the soft tissue and tendons in my toe. I have a feeling it was from a less than perfect landing after a flying side kick- we were really cramped in space-wise. It's much better now, I can at least move it without too much pain :)

You seem to have had a few knocks yourself! I also had a torn hamstring a couple of years ago - stretching with a white belt, who went a bit too far. Lasted for ages, was terrible. Cheers and thanks for the comments, I'm hoping to get back into it ASAP!

hi matt,
i guess you'll be tapping the keyboard a bit more for the couple of weeks. Hope its not to painfull for you, what did you actually do?

i studied GKR KARATE in brisbane over 5 years and well, i found that besides getting the odd brused rib from a blackbelt, most of my injuries were caused from training, because of not warming up enough.
Most of the injuries were in early morning lessons. I have had ; sholder in-pingement and torn hamstring x2, dislocated thumb from a white belt, that had no idea of what they were doing. etc.
hope you heal quicky, so you can get back to training!

See ya
